RETURNS

Hope Design Ltd. purchases* can be returned within 30 days of the ship date of your item. Customer must show proof of purchase (order #, email). The item must be returned in original condition and undamaged to qualify for a refund. Refund can only be credited to the original form of payment or store credit. The customer is responsible for return shipping.

*All standard physical items can be returned. Custom items, wholesale items, and digital downloads cannot be returned.

*Shipping fees will not be refunded.  

What does "original condition and undamaged" mean?

Item is free of dirt, grease, and signs of wear.  Original packaging is in new condition, including box, backing card and/or velvet bag. No human or pet hair, fragrance or odor.

What if the item was a gift?

Gifted items can be returned for store credit with proof of purchase. Proof of purchase would be original order number/purchaser.

What if I believe the item I received is defective?

If you believe your item has arrived damaged or defective, please follow the steps below :

  • Take photos and write a description of damage or defect.

  • Send them in email to hopedesignltd @ gmail.com within 10 days of original ship date. 

  • Await response from Hope Design Ltd. These cases are handled on a case-by-case basis. 

  • If you receive approval of return, if necessary, mail items to Hope Design Ltd. following the mailing instructions below.

Wholesale accounts have 30 days to report defective merchandise. After this inspection time period passes, all sales are final and items are subject to repair fees.

All items purchased on sale online and all items at Hope Design Ltd.'s trunk shows are FINAL SALE and cannot be returned. Gift Cards are non-refundable/returnable.

 

REPAIRS 

At Hope Design Ltd., we stand behind the quality and craftsmanship of our handmade jewelry and are committed to ensuring your satisfaction. Please review our repair policy for details on complimentary repairs and repair services offered beyond the initial 30 days.

Complimentary Repairs (Within 30 Days)

  • We offer complimentary repairs for any craftsmanship issues that arise within 30 days of delivery.
  • The 30-day period begins on the date your order is marked as delivered, as indicated by the shipping carrier’s tracking information.
  • To request a complimentary repair, please contact us at hopedesignltd @ gmail.com with your order number and a description of the issue.
  • Complimentary repairs include the cost of labor and materials, but clients are responsible for shipping the item to us. We will cover the return shipping to you.

Repairs After 30 Days

  • Repairs requested after 30 days are subject to a repair fee, determined based on the extent of the work needed.
  • Clients are responsible for all shipping costs, including sending the item to us and the return shipment.
  • To request a repair quote, email us at hopedesignltd @ gmail.com with photos and a description of the issue. Once assessed, we will provide a cost estimate and further instructions.

What Our Repairs Cover

We are happy to assist with repairs for issues related to:

  • Broken clasps, chains, or links.
  • Loose or missing components (e.g., beads, charms).
  • Minor adjustments (e.g., resizing, tightening connections).

What Is Not Covered

The following are not eligible for repair:

  • Damage caused by misuse, improper care, or accidents.
  • Tarnishing or discoloration due to exposure to chemicals, water, or improper storage.
  • Significant alterations to the original design.

Repair Turnaround Time

  • Repairs are typically completed within 2-3 weeks from the date we receive your item. If additional time is needed, we will notify you.
  • Expedited repairs may be available for an additional fee.

Shipping Instructions

  • For both complimentary and paid repairs, we recommend using a trackable and insured shipping method to ensure your item reaches us safely.
  • Include your order number, contact information, and a brief description of the repair needed with your shipment.

CUSTOM JEWELRY

Thank you for choosing our handcrafted jewelry. Each piece is uniquely designed and crafted with care to ensure quality and satisfaction. Please review our custom jewelry policy before placing your order:

Custom Orders

  • Personalization Custom jewelry is created specifically for you, incorporating your design preferences and specifications.
  • Production Time Once a custom commission is accepted, please expect 2-8 weeks for the creation of custom pieces. This timeframe is subject to change based on the complexity of the design and availability of materials.
  • Approval You will receive a detailed design proposal or mock-up for approval before we commence production. Once approved and payment is submitted, no further modifications can be made.


Payment

  • Invoice A detailed invoice will be issued for your custom order. The invoice must be paid in full before we begin production.
  • Final Sale All sales are final once the invoice is paid. No cancellations, refunds, or exchanges will be accepted after payment has been processed.


Custom Returns and Warranty

  • No Returns Due to the personalized nature of custom jewelry, we do not accept returns or exchanges. This policy ensures that every custom piece is uniquely yours.
  • Warranty We stand by the quality of our craftsmanship. Should you encounter any defects in materials or workmanship, please contact us within 30 days of receipt for evaluation.


Shipping

  • Address Accuracy Providing a complete and accurate shipping address is the sole responsibility of the client. Hope Design Ltd. cannot be held liable for issues related to undeliverable packages arising from inaccuracies or omissions in the shipping address provided at checkout. If a package is returned, delayed, or marked as undeliverable due to an invalid or unverified address, the client will be responsible for any additional postage costs, re-mailing fees, or associated charges. Refunds for original postage will not be issued in these cases. Any additional shipping costs incurred to correct and resend the package will be billed to the client.
  • Delivery Service Your custom jewelry will be securely packaged and shipped via your choice of shipping carrier, selected at checkout. Shipping costs and times vary depending on your location and selection.
  • Insurance We recommend adding insurance to your shipment to cover potential loss or damage in transit. Hope Design Ltd. is not responsible for packages once they have departed the studio and scanned into the delivery service's system. This includes packages that are lost or damaged during shipping. 


By placing an order for custom jewelry, you agree to these terms and conditions. Thank you for trusting us to create a piece that reflects your unique style and vision.

EXCHANGES

In order to process an exchange, the customer must complete the return process above and repurchase item they are wanting instead. 

 

MAILING INSTRUCTIONS

Whether you are sending in your personal military insignia and buttons or processing a return, please follow the steps below to ensure your package arrives safely at the studio:

  • Package items in a protective box or bubble mailer with padding. Any envelope with more than a 1/4-inch thickness is non-machinable and costs more than a first class letter. 

  • Include complete return address information on the outside and inside the package. 

  • Mail items to Hope Design Ltd. at the provided address. *This military-owned business moves frequently, always use the provided address to ensure it is up-to-date.

  • Obtain tracking information from your shipping service. Hope Design Ltd. is not responsible for packages that are not received. Insurance is highly encouraged on high-value and irreplaceable items.

  • Send notification to HopeDesignLtd@gmail.com that your package is on the way.

  • You will receive a personal confirmation of receipt from Hope Design Ltd. within 24-48 hours of receiving your package.

 

MODIFICATIONS ON PENDING ORDERS

Buyers are allowed to make changes to orders placed, within 12 hours of making their purchases and before the orders are fulfilled. Please be advised that any modifications after 12 hours of order confirmation will be entertained on a case by case basis. 

Cancellations

Hope Design Ltd. accepts cancellations on all regular orders within 1 hour of placing an order. In the event you wish to cancel your order, please contact us within 1 hour of order confirmation at HopeDesignLtd@gmail.com . Please be advised that any cancellations after 1 hour of order confirmation will be handled on a case by case basis. If custom items have already been paid for, the order cannot be canceled. Custom items include, but are not limited to: custom brooches, legacy button collection, hand-stamped jewelry, and custom commission pieces.

 

JEWELRY PRODUCTION

Hope Design Ltd. designs and creates pieces based on your order. Please allow 1-3 weeks for the creation of your jewelry; note shipping is not included in that timeframe. 

SHIPPING

  • Multiple varieties of USPS shipping available at checkout for all domestic and international packages. Our products ship to most countries worldwide. While Hope Design Ltd. strives to deliver goods in the time frame specified above, we cannot guarantee or accept liability for deliveries made outside of this time frame.
  • Hope Design Ltd. cannot be held accountable for orders once they have been accepted by the USPS tracking system. 
  • All items ship to the USA and APO’s. If you are shipping internationally, please send email to hopedesignltd@gmail.com for your personal shipping quote. 

 

IMPORTANT:

We are not responsible if a package is/are not deliverable because of missing, incomplete or incorrect destination information. Please enter the correct shipping details when checking out, if shipping information is not corrected within 12 hours of purchase, store policy will apply. If you realize you have made an error in your shipping details, kindly e-mail us at HopeDesignLtd@gmail.com as soon as possible.

SHIPPING INSURANCE

Insurance: Insurance on domestic shipping is available of purchase in the shipping section of the checkout process. Order value up to $100 insurance is included on all USPS Priority Mail orders. Hope Design Ltd. highly encourages insurance is purchased for all custom and one-of-a-kind orders, as they are irreplaceable. Hope Design Ltd. cannot be held accountable for orders once they have been accepted by the shipping carrier tracking system.

INTERNATIONAL TAXES & CUSTOMS DUTIES

Buyers are responsible for any and all duties and customs charges that may be incurred. If you have any questions about the taxes and duties in your country, please visit your local post office before placing your order with us. Customs rates vary depending on the country. As each country determines the customs and duties due for packages, Hope Design Ltd. does not have any say or control in these charges.
