One of a Kind Adjutant General's Corps Brooch

This brooch bears a U.S. Army Adjutant General's Corps insignia centerpiece on a vintage Coro brooch. Coro was a popular jewelry manufacturer during the 1930s and 1940s. The Coro hallmark is visible on the back of the brooch. 

Branch Insignia

The U.S. Army Adjutant General's Corps branch insignia is a silver and enamel shield with thirteen vertical stripes, 7 silver, and 6 red; on a blue chief 1 large and 12 small silver stars. The basic design is the shield from the Coat of Arms of the United States that was adopted in 1872 as a solid shield of silver, bearing thirteen stars.
